When the police officer is listing the kind of awful crimes that he could help solve, he says "if hed been a serial killer or a sodomite, I could help". Listing those has two of the crimes he could help fight.
It seems to me that by 2014 game producers could stop referring to sodomites as criminals. And because the game is in a contemporary setting, they cant even say that they were addressing terminology of "the time".
